1) Monochromatic Color Scheme- Write a definition for this color scheme. Then select ONE color on the color wheel. Finally, color in the tints, tones and shades for that color.
2) Complementary Color Scheme- Write a definition for this color scheme. Then select TWO opposite colors on the color wheel. Finally, color in the tints, tones and shades for those colors.
3) Use bright, bold, high Intensity colors for the parts of the image below labeled "High Intensity" Colors. Use dimmer, toned down colors for the areas labeled "Tints and Tones". Finally, use dark, mellow colors for the areas labeled "Tints and Shades". Try to think about what areas of the objects would be shaded darker and which would be lighter to add more depth and interest to your image.
